2026 Fantasy Football Tight End Projections
Full-season projections for 155 tight ends, in PPR, half PPR and standard scoring, with the stat line behind every total. Updated 8/15
Trey McBride leads our 2026 tight end projections at 256.8 PPR points. The board separates early: 14 points divide TE1 from TE2, so the first few tight ends sit in a tier of their own before Brock Bowers begins the next group. Smaller steps follow after TE2, TE14. It thins quickly after TE12 at 172.8 points, with only 3 tight ends projected within ten percent of that line.

Full-season totals, not per game. Ranks are within position. A tight end's rank differs between scoring formats, which is why all three are shown.
Common questions
Should I draft a tight end early?
It depends entirely on the shape of the position in a given year. When the top one or two are clear of the field by a wide margin, the advantage is real; when the tier is flat, waiting costs almost nothing. The gaps on this page show which of those years it is.
How many tight ends should I draft?
One in most formats, two if you take a late flyer rather than an early starter. The position is shallow, so the difference between TE12 and TE20 is often small enough that streaming works.
Why are tight end projections lower than other positions?
Tight ends block as well as run routes, so they see fewer targets than receivers on the same offense. A top tight end is valuable relative to his position, not relative to a top receiver.
How many tight ends are projected here?
All 155 tight ends with a meaningful projected role for 2026, ranked by PPR points with the stat line behind each total.
How often is this updated?
Whenever the underlying projections are revised, which is typically every few days through the preseason and after significant news. This page was last updated August 15, 2026.
